Vincent Blackwood, is the nom de plume adopted by award winning singer songwriter Logan Kendell as a writer, storyteller, and artist in 2019, and then as a musician in 2021.

Note: Vincent is also a long time progressive political activist. Those who’ve followed since the early years of music by Logan Kendell will be familiar with his support for environmentalism and socialist causes. Early followers of Vincent on spotify and social media will be familiar with his anti-trump anthem “Looking at the End” and his antifascist anthem “Antifascism forever”.
“I think it’s important for my audience to know where I stand on the things that matter to them. I am a proud progressive democratic socialist. I’m anti-fascist (thus anti-republican), anti-ice, anti-racist; I oppose oligarchy, theocracy, apartheid, and genocide ; I’m hyper-feminist (borderline misandrist really), a long time lgbtqia+ activist, pro-science, pro-public-education, Pro-union, pro-compassion, atheist, environmentalist, and I stand with Palestine and Ukraine. My politics are reflected in my art, my interests, and the way I live my life.”
